Flathead Valley Information & Links

The Flathead Valley is located in the northwest corner of Montana, and is known as the recreation (and fun) capital of the state. Surrounded by three majestic mountain ranges, Flathead Valley is the home of small towns, clean air and friendly people. Kalispell, located in the center of the valley, is the commercial hub and county seat. Further north is Whitefish; a small recreational town nestled at the base of the Big Mountain Ski Resort and along the shores of beautiful Whitefish Lake. Columbia Falls is known as the gateway to Glacier National Park. Lakeside, Bigfork, Polson and Somers are pleasant towns that border Flathead Lake. These towns continue to maintain their original character and charm through past years of growth and growing national recognition.
